During the summer months the small pedestrian area features a supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, etc. Various restaurants can be found between the hotels. The "Hotel Cap Vermell", located next to the beach, with a good restaurant and a great sea terrace, can be reached via the footbridge. The golf course and the Caves of Artá are by car within 3 - 5 min drive achieved. The hilly hinterland and the nature reserve on the "Torrente" (stream) from Canyamel invite to hiking and biking. Interesting is also the historic "Torre de Canyamel": He served as a guard and defense tower for defense against pirates. Today a small museum, a restaurant and a concert hall are housed therein.
